Life can be challenging at times...
A place to talk, reflect, and move forward
Person-Centred Counselling
Person-centred counselling is a supportive and non-directive approach to therapy that places you at the heart of the process. Rather than offering advice or solutions, the counsellor works alongside you, providing a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.
This approach is based on the belief that everyone has an innate capacity for growth and self-understanding. Through a genuine, empathetic, and accepting relationship, the counsellor helps you gain deeper insight into yourself, build self-awareness, and develop the confidence to make choices that feel right for you.
Person-centred counselling can be helpful for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. It is particularly valuable if you are looking for a space to feel truly heard and understood, without pressure or direction, allowing you to find your own way forward.
A bit about me..
I work with people who are finding life harder than they expected — with a particular focus on men who feel under pressure but aren’t always sure how to talk about it.
That pressure can show up in different ways. You might be feeling stressed, frustrated, low, or just not quite yourself. On the surface, things might look fine — work, relationships, day-to-day life — but underneath there’s a sense that something isn’t right, or that you’re carrying more than you can manage alone.
My approach is straightforward, grounded, and real. I won’t analyse you from a distance or speak in jargon. Instead, we’ll work together to understand what’s going on, in a way that actually makes sense for your life. There’s no pressure to have the “right” words — just a space to talk openly and figure things out at your own pace.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent years around the ocean. Surfing taught me a lot about handling uncertainty, staying steady, and learning how to respond when things feel out of your control. Life isn’t always calm — but with the right support, you can find a better way to navigate it.
Whether you’re going through a difficult period or simply want space to think more clearly, I offer a place where you can talk without judgement.
